Moose & Squirrel

September 7, 2007 By Sam Sloan 1 Comment

bullrock.jpgClassic Media is proud to present “The Best of Rocky and Bullwinkle: Volume 2” on DVD September 18, 2007. Re-live more of your favorite classic episodes with this Special DVD collection from one of the most popular and longest running animated television shows of all time. The series began in 1959 and is still seen somewhere in the world every single day.

What many thought was a cartoon series geared for children turned out to be a very interesting trip down the subtle road of innuendo and humor that a child could appreciate on one level, while adults could be entertained by the biting in-between-the-lines satire and comedy. The late Jay Ward and Bill Scott, the creators of the legendary Moose and Squirrel pulled all that off without being in your face about it. “The Simpsons” creator Matt Groening has openly admitted that had there been no Rocky and Bullwinkle, there would have been no Homer, Marge and the Simpsons family.

All your old friends are here, Rocket J Squirrel, Bullwinkle J Moose, Boris, Natasha, Professor Peabody, Dudley Do-Right, Snidely Whiplash and more! Bonus features include puppet intros from the original series! Brush off your Wassamotta U varsity jacket and get in the game
