What do you get when you team up Oscar nominated director Guillermo del Toro and veteran horror scribe Clive Barker? You get a psychological thriller starring the beautiful Jennifer Connelly and the mezmorizing Paul Bettany.
“Born” is the name of this new film, which is being directed by Daniel Simpson (“The Uninvited”) and co-produced by Lawrence Gordon and Lloyd Levin.
“Born” tells the story of a couple who move into what appears to be the perfect English hamlet and settle down to raise their family in its picturesque, quiet surroundings. Bettany, the husband and father makes his living doing claymation and after moving to this small town their lives are turned into a nightmarish horror after his creations begin coming to life and reaping havoc.
Production on this project will begin this summer in mid-August. Both del Toro and Levin are currently in production with “Hellboy 2: The Golden Army.”
