William Shatner will appear along with world renown visionaries and futurists such as Raymond Kurzweil, Peter Diamondis, Marvin Minsky and Aubrey de Grey at TransVision 2007 a global summit on grand challenges, July 23-26th at the Fairmont Hotel, Chicago, Illinois (USA). Bill will be this year’s keynote speaker.
The World Transhumanist Association (WTA) is a global non-profit member organization dedicated to the ethical use of technology to expand human capacities. The WTA supports the development of and access to new technologies that enable everyone to enjoy better minds, better bodies and better lives.
