First New Bionic Woman Pics

May 13, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 12 Comments

The Daily Mail got there hands on some of the first pics of the new NBC SF television show, the “Bionic Woman,” who is played by the UK’s Eastenders actress Michell Ryan. We have them here as well. Kudos to Mike Lopez for getting these to us to share with you.

The photos from various scenes show Jamie Sommers, a tennis pro right after she suffers a near-fatal skydiving accident and then soon after her body is transformed with bionic parts (new legs, a bionic arm and one bionic eye).

Actually, this Bionic Woman was in a near fatal car crash, not a parachute accident. (That was the old Bionic Woman.)

So this new Bionic woman is the female version of six-million dollar man with the legs arm and eye. Didn’t Jamie Sommers from the 70’s have bionic hearing?

you are correct Just Says. I was thinking the same thing when I posted this. I asked myself, “Hey! What about her super hearing?”

Are they going to give her a Steve Austin?

I will miss the pert little ear, and the coy way Jamie would tuck her hair behind it to give a bionic listen. Maybe that’s what Steve will do….

…she will have both..watch the clips on nbc.com and her boyfriend/doctor says so. or at least that’s what i got from the trailer(s).

Actually, Jamie and Steve were later married in “Bionic Ever After” and Jamie was then given Bionic eyes…

Just thought that may help explain why this character would also have them/one.

…actually, Dr Wells just “reprogrammed” Jamie to heal her of the virus that had infected her bionic systems. the special optical features she had afterwards when she went to rescue Steve Austin was just an added benefit and upgrade..though i thought it was a cop-out to the original concept given steve’s bionic eye had the features only..but i rant

I luurrved Lindsay Wagner as the original Bionic Woman and I have seen recent pics of Lindsay today and she did not look crash hot at all compared especially to Jaclyn Smith who looks like she’s 30 something and she’s almost 60, did u see the tribute to ASpelling, she looked HOT. Hopefully Lindsay will scrub up nicely in the Playboy shoot. Please please LW do a cameo in the new BW. I will watch it with an open mind, lovin it all but it will be pushing it to beat the original. What about Max the awesome and so cute bionic dog?? I like continuity if u can’t already tell. Is Bionic Ever after available on DVD as I’ve seen all of em but that one?
