Moore Spills BSG Beans

March 26, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 3 Comments

In an exclusive interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, “Battlestar Galactica” executive producer Ronald D. Moore, let his hair down and spilled the proverbial beans on Sunday’s Season Three finale episode ‘Crossroads Part 2″ and some of the things we can expect to see in the Galactica verse come Season Four.

240—320.jpgSeason Four, which won’t air until sometime in early 2008, will be the last for BSG, according to Moore with plans for the two-hour event this fall and the direct-to-DVD followup release and then there is the “Caprica” series coming as well — well, maybe, maybe not.

I’m not going to reiterate the entire article, but it is very revealing and full of spoilers, so let the reader beware.

Read the feature at The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

I will quote one piece as it relates to Kara ‘Starbuck’ Thrace, the character played by actress Katee Sackhoff — “Hey, I’m not dead, unless that was a ghost flying that ship. Or maybe Apollo was hallucinating. Or maybe the past three episodes were all a dream!”

You read and you decide.

Late addition Update:

MeeVee also has an exclusive interviews with Grace Park (Boomer) and Richard Hatch (Senator Tom Zarek).

Also, very good interviews with with cast & Moore at Entertainment Weekly (http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,20015932,00.html).

That “all a dream” statement better be B.S…that would kill the show.

I’m sure the “dream” comment was a joke. Even this fanboy, who defends all the twists and turns of BSG, would find a way to stand next to R. Moore when my head exploded after a “dream” revelation.
