World’s Fate in the Hands of Max Neptune

March 24, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 2 Comments

If you use to enjoy old serials like “Flash Gordon,” “Commando Cody” or “Tom Corbett, Space Cadet,” then you’ll probably love “Max Neptune and the Menacing Squid.”

Curt Clendenin stars as the film’s hero Max Neptune, a member of the Atomic Space Patrol [ASP], who serves to protect the planet from villains like the evil Dr. Agotch (Michael Ornelas).

Agotch would like nothing better than to destroy the ASP so he can be free to wantonly terrorize and endanger innocent lives. Only one man stands in the way of him being able to fulfill his evil desires — Max Neptune.

This sci-fi feature film was directed and co-written by Emmy nominee John Garside (“Marty’s Corner”). Colin Flemming co-directed with Jerry Renek also sharing script duty. “Max Neptune and the Menacing Squid” is currently in post-production and will be released soon. It co-stars Dave Uchansky, Keaton Shyler and David Pond.
