“Cyber Angels” Make Their Net Crime Fighting Debut

February 12, 2007 By S. K. Sloan Leave a Comment

Kathy Messick and Atlantis Studios are introducing the first comic ever for the generation net titled “Cyber Angels”, written by Messick with art by Sofyan Sorief.

CYBER, the ruler of information in the Digital World, is extremely stressed because he can’t be everywhere at once to combat rampant cyber crime, especially schemes committed by youth that go unprosecuted. The Divine Artificial Intelligence searches for a team to assist him and finds three teenage girls, ZIP, JAVA and MAYA, attending a Magnet School for Technology.

Cyber transfers their genetic code to digital code so they can traverse Cyber Space, rooting out Hackers and Crackers showing them the error of their evil ways! Upon acceptance of their mission at Cyber’s headquarters, JAMES, Cyber’s assistant gives the girls hardware and software to battle cyber crime. With many powers and programs available to them, these girls can become anything they desire when fighting crime.

” ‘Cyber Angels’ is a timely trio,” writes Kathy Messick. “These interactive heroines will not only be idolized as smart girls but also modernize the concepts their peers like Superman, Supergirl and even the Powerpuff Girls have established.” The latest comic book episodes are titled “A New Identity” and “Halting South Hampton’s Hacker”. They introduce the origin of the girls as well as their purpose as cyber crime fighters.

Where will Zip, Java and Maya materialize next? Well, if you haven’t read about them on the Internet or came across one of the latest episodes, it will only be a matter of cyber time that they flash on to your TV or technological device. Until then keep your eyes open and blackberries on, they might just digitize near you during their visit to the Big Apple!

You can meet Kathy Messick when she appears at the New York ComicCon February 23 – 25,
2007 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center. Look for more information at the Atlantis Studios booth #960.
