Wasabi Anime to give away $1000 Grand Prize for costume contest at FX Toy Show and Convention at the Orlando County Convention Center on Saturday, January 27, 2007. Florida’s most popular Japanese animation and culture fan group to “raise the bar” for other fan conventions for the second year in a row.

Wasabi Anime (Florida’s most popular Japanese animation and culture fan group) will be hosting a massive costume contest at the FX Toy Show & Convention on Saturday, January 29th. The contest is sponsored in part by JACON — the long running Central Florida Japanese animation convention. Entrants must all be attendees of the FX Toy Show & Convention to participate.

Prizes will be awarded for best of each category, and a $1000 Grand Prize ($500 cash and $500 to be spent at the convention) will be given away to for the overall best of show.
