“Children of Men” has done so well in limited release that it will now be seen in an additional 1200 theaters (this film is definitely worth a look).

The SAG (Screen Actor’s Guild) has totally ignored SF in this year’s pick of choice films and TV programs but we shouldn’t feel too left out though because they also didn’t choose Eastwood’s “Flags of Our Fathers” and “Letters From Iwo Jima” as well as “United 93” and “The Queen” which is a frontrunner for the Oscars this year.

The Producers Guild of America will honor Will Wright, creator of The Sims, with the prestigious Vanguard Award, the first time a game designer has been so honored, the guild announced.
