CD Players Obsolete? I Don’t Think So!

January 4, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 2 Comments

The Square CD is a minimal CD player. It can be hung on the wall like a flat screen and when it is turned off it appears just like a white corian square on the wall. Once the CD is turned on, a light creates the interface and a back light diffuses to a soft illumination all around the square.

The interface is created within light, and works like a sensible skin which is able to read the pressure in the sensitive spot white-out button. The corian surface works also as a speaker thanks to the smart material technologies. A little “magnet”, similar to the one produced by Feonic is connected to the corian surface and transforms the entire surface into a speaker.

That’s what I get for copy and paste – let me fix that lingo up abit.

There we go, I hope that flows a little better. Guess you could tell I didn’t edit it the first time around and just did a simple cut and past from the original “broken English” article….my bad! 🙂
    All fixed now! 😉
