This was a tough choice to make. Like most fans of TOS, I love the Wrath of Khan, but there are just too many great moments in the under-rated Search for Spock to not choose that as my top pick.
Kyle Nin says
“First Contact”, definitely. “The Voyage Home” and “The Wrath of Kahn” are good ones too.
Lindy Rae says
The Whales/Time Travel Movie of course. Just good goofy fun. I can watch it over and over just to hear Scotty try to talk to that Mac thru the mouse ๐
JFStan says
hey #1, I voted for The Search for Spock as well.. ๐
Barry says
I also enjoyed Search for Spock and The Voyage Home.
My eyes teared up at the end of Undiscovered Country when Kirk was saying goodbye to Captain Sulu.
Nigel in Melbourne says
I think the Voyage Home is a film which ends up being better now than when it came out. It is, in reality, a voyage back in time which it wasn’t when it came out. To quote Galaxy Quest. It is an Historical Document.
Yet it is Wrath of Khan that is my favorite. A good story, well thought out and propper science fiction too boot. First Contact is right behind it, but its Wrath that wins the day.
