Genre Dominates 2007 Golden Globe Nominations

This year’s Golden Globe nominees (usually the crystal ball for the Oscars) has a smattering of various themes that range from war and patriotism, the mafia and dysfunctional family fare. The dominating factor in this year’s list of nominees, however, is SF and Fantasy. As good as that news is to all fans of the genre, sadly, “Battlestar Galactica” and “The 4400,” probably two of the very best weekly dramas on television today, were not nominated in any of the major categories.

Here are the nominees in that genre for the 2007 Golden Globes.

Best Television Series Drama

Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series – Drama
