After several emails and comments we think it is time to share with all our fans that if you have yet to see an episode of whatever program is being talked about in any “Totally Fracked” article as seen on Slice of SciFi or our partner site MeeVee then be forewarned these reviews and synopsis’ will contain SPOILERS about said program.
We are careful to not put up any Totally Fracked article until after the episode or movie in question has been aired on U.S television or theaters , but suffice it to say, regardless of when we would post the article there will be those somewhere in the world who have yet to see it.
Many of our fans find Totally Fracked to be quite informative and enjoyable while some have voiced anger at being spoiled by the articles.
So – far all to hear:
Any TOTALLY FRACKED article will contain some SPOILERS or at least information about a program or movie you may not wish to know about until you have had the opportunity to see it for yourself.
With that in mind, when a Totally Fracked article appears in your RSS feed and on our website you have the option, based on the movie title or TV episode being discussed to totally ignore it until after you have watched it or you can dive right into the article head first.
You have been duly served and warned – the choice is now Totally Yours to be Totally Fracked or Not To Be Totally Fracked… which, I suppose explains the title “Totally Fracked.”
Sadly common sense is neither.
Just a thought, would there be a way to have a separate RSS feed for ‘Totally Fracked’ articles, and perhaps not include them in a feed for the rest of the sosf content, or an additional feed for the sosf content minus the ‘Totally Fracked’

OK Kids we have worked out an arrangement with MeeVee and all future articles from them that are spoiler-refic will be tagged as a SPOILER ALERT and all material following the spoiler warning will be under the “Read More” Tag.
I am going to develop a nicer looking SPOILER ALERT banner than the simple type written wording currently being used, so be a good bunch of chaps and ladies and give me a bit to get that done.

Just developed the new SoSF Spoiler Alert Banner for all articles posted on our site that may have spoilers in them.
As a reviewer/critic for more than five years now, it never ceases to amaze me that people wouldn’t expect a review of an episode that has aired in first run to have spoilers about said episode. But that, apparently, is crazy talk.
Thank you John from Jersey, I was beginning to think I was the only one who was aware of that. As a broadcaster, an editor and reviewer for many years, I too was amazed and was wondering when the biz changed. 🙂
The funny thing is, these days, TV Guide is publishing massive spoilers about episodes more than a week ahead of first run, and I don’t see much complaining about that at all. But a review needs to avoid discussing the very point of its own existence? Very odd thinking…
I left a comment about the “Totally Frakked” article on the “Gods & Monsters” ep of Doctor Who.
I have no problems with spoilers about the given episode which has aired here in the US, but that article went too far in giving major spoilers for future episodes without warning! I don’t think I was being unreasonable in that case for complaining.
On behalf of TV with MeeVee, I sincerely apologize for the snafu. We’ve worked it out with Slice of Scifi. From now on spoilers will be noted in big bold letters.
