Based On a True Story…Er – At Least On a Good One!

December 7, 2006 By S. K. Sloan 1 Comment

Picture this IF YOU CAN:

Four guys from the heartland of America take a road trip across the country to perform the ultimate heist and to honor the wish of a dying friend.

With cameos by the great William Shatner, Carrie Fisher, Billy Dee Williams and Danny Trejo with tons of Storm Troopers, “Fanboys” is an ultimate Geek Fest and fall-down milk-coming-out-of-your-nose laugh trek that will take you to where every Star Wars vrs. Star Trek lover wants to go – in a van going to Las Vegas and sitting down with George for a “Phantom Menace” hoedown at the Skywalker Ranch.

The movie stars Sam Huntington (Superman Returns), Chris Marquette (Just Friends), Tony Award Winner Dan Fogler (School For Scoundrels), Jay Baruchel (Million Dollar Baby) and Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars)

“Fanboys,” due out on April 20, 2007, along with “Free Enterprise 2” are the two films every true scifi geek will need to see in order to keep their credentials validated and up-to-date. Parking validation is not included.

I cannot wait to see this movie! 2007 is shaping up to be a geek-fest at the movies and this one fits right in. Also, I wasn’t aware that there was going to be a Free Enterprise 2. The first film is a classic.
