Come on everyone. Mal Reynolds is the guy you want when you have a handfull of crew members. Adama is the guy you want to lead a rag tag fleet to safety. But if your going to be on a ship, don’t you want the captain that isn’t going to get shot at? Yea for Captain Stubing. Besides he is also the least likely to steal the cute engineer away from you.

How is that Gavin McCloud, captain of The Love Boat (Marrill Stubing), isn’t way ahead in this competition? People! He’ll bring Isaac, so we’ll have plenty to drink. Eva Gabor is bound to show up on occasion, and Charo will be there damn-near once a week! Don’t make me sick Gopher on you…

You missed one. I want Dylan Hunt. (Gene Roddenberry’s Andromeda)

Yeah, or also Steven Caldwell (commander of the Daedalus on “Stargate Atlantis”).

But I guess if they added those, there would be too many choices.

DAMN! I didn’t see captain tight pants until it was too late! But I’ve always been in love with Jean Luc.

I’m wondering if Han Solo should be on this list?

    Oh, come ON people. Janeway….

    1) She’s an accomplished leader.
    2) There will always be a job in shuttle repair.
    3) And she’s likely to make sure that there’s room for promotion. By getting into harm’s way.

    bugleboy,

I’d only want Dylan Hunt from Season 1, or the first half of Season 2. After that, not so much ๐Ÿ™‚ Personally, from the available choices, it’d have to be Cap’n Reynolds. I love my captain.

Now, why John Sheridan didn’t make this list is beyond me… if Sisko commanding a station is on here, then Sheridan should have been on the list, too! How many people were on DS9, anyway? ๐Ÿ™‚

Shame on you for trying to make me choose between Ben Browder and Nathan Fillion. Shame!!!! (Although, come to think of it, that would only be a *really* hard choice if the size of the crew was only two.)

Oh, wait, Adama’s on there. Problem solved. ๐Ÿ™‚
