The powerfully intense actor Powers Boothe (Deadwood), who shot to fame nearly 30 years ago with his uncanny and gripping portrayal of cult leader Jim Jones, has been elected to the office of Vice President of the United States on Fox’s “24.” His will be a recurring role as Vice President Noah Daniels. D.B. Woodside continues as President Wayne Palmer.
“24” is FOX Television’s unprecendented hit that takes one 24-hour day per season in the goings-on of special agent Jack Bauer (Keifer Sutherland) and follows the adventures that take place in that one day. Each hourly episodes focuses on one consecutive hour in Jack’s life.
Boothe is currently involved with Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’ production of “Sin City 2” starring in another political role as Senator Roark.
