SAG Taps NFL’S Allen

HOLLYWOOD — Leaders of the Screen Actors Guild have selected NFL Players Assn. exec Doug Allen unanimously as national executive director and chief negotiator.

The vote, taken Saturday at SAG’s national board meeting in Hollywood, came a year after a split SAG board fired Greg Hessinger in a reflection of the bitter internal battles within the actors’ union.
