Nathan Fillion has just signed a talent holding deal with Fox Broadcasting Co. and 20th Century Fox TV, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Under this new agreement the studio and the network will develop a comedy or drama script for Fillion. If, however, the pilot is not picked up, Fox and 20th TV will then be obligated to cast him in an existing project. So, it looks like fans will be seeing more of Nathan on the small screen in the near future.

Although it’s good that Nathan gets to work, it IS for Fox.. and with a “do or die” contract this could spell disaster. If they decide to poke him into whatever steaming pile they have lying around instead of hiring decent writers, well, it’s obvious what might happen.
