NBC is bringing back its Emmy-winning hit supernatural drama Medium two months earlier than originally scheduled and placing it on a new night and in a different time slot.

The show was to return on its regular night beginning in January, but will now be seen in mid-November. It will replace new entry “Kidnapped” at 10PM ET on Wednesday. The newer show failed to meet the network’s expectations in the coveted mid-week schedule and will now be moved to that dead zone of TV viewing known as Saturday night.
