Yoba Joins Raines Cast

Malik Yoba (Thief, Cool Runnings) has joined the cast of “Raines,” a mid-season starter for NBC starring Jeff Goldblum in the title role. The supernatural drama series is about a detective who solves murder crimes by seeing and talking to dead victims.

Yoba will play Raines’ ex-partner and confidant. The series will also feature “STAR TREK Enterprise” alum, Linda Park as a uniformed police officer.

Look for “Raines” on NBC in January 2007.

Later this year Yoba can be seen in a musical-comedy motion picture called “Caught on Tape” starring, written, and directed by “Blade: The Series” star Sticky Fingaz. Others in the film are Cedric the Entertainer and Vivia A. Fox. In 2007, Yoba will star in the Afghan wartime feature film “Rockaway.”
