Mr. Will Smith won’t have to worry about how his daughter is doing in school over the next several months. The six-year old daughter of actors Will and Jada Pinkett Smith will be joining her father on the set of his latest anticipated blockbuster vampire thriller “I Am Legend.”
Willow Smith will join the cast as the on-screen daughter, of Smith’s vampire-hunting character, Robert Neville. This will be Willow’s first time in front of the camera. Salli Richardson (Eureka) will play the part of Neville’s wife and Willow’s mother.
The Smith family is another indicator that talent is genetic. Will and Jada’s son, Jaden, will soon be playing opposite his father in “The Pursuit of Happyness,” the story about a struggling salesman who takes custody of his son as he’s poised to begin a life-changing professional endeavor.
“I Am Legend,” (from which Charlton Heston’s “Omega Man” was inspired) stars Will Smith as the last man on earth after a deadly plague turns all other humans into vampires, can be seen in theaters on November 21, 2007.
