“Soldiers of the Dead” Comic Book & Screenplay

September 21, 2006 By S. K. Sloan Leave a Comment

Eyes On Hands On Entertainment and Atlantis Studios are pleased to announce the release of “Soldiers of the Dead,” a comic book written by Paul Vincent Fusco with art by Ulises Roman.

“Soldiers of the Dead” tells the tale of American troops sent to Haiti during 1994, to quell a murderous rampage by the new military leaders of the country. When a Green Beret A-Team disappears on “special reconnaissance” near a Mysterious Bizango village, a second team is dispatched to investigate, lead by a CIA company man, supported by 10th Mountain Soldiers.

Overrun by the Bizango Villagers, the Green Berets soon find themselves trapped deep within a communal burial crypt…under siege by hundreds of “Lwa.” These spiritually resurrected creatures hungry for the soldiers “life force”, which lies within their juicy hearts.

“‘Soldiers of the Dead’ is a preview issue comic based on my screenplay,” explains writer/director/creator Paul Vincent Fusco. “My goal is to create audience awareness and use the book as a ‘pitching tool’ for potential film production companies. With the diligent help and creative eye of James Watson’s Atlantis Studios, I’ve not only achieved this goal…but
exceeded it.”

“Soldiers of the Dead is an exceptional project from a master film storyteller,” commented Atlantis Studios President James Watson. “It’s a suspenseful thriller that mixes military and horror genres, while retaining both humanity and meaning. I’m pleased that Atlantis Studios was able to be part of this project!”

The “Soldiers of the Dead” 24-page comic is exclusively available online. For more information on how to order, as well as four pages of preview art, visit: Atlantis Studios “Soldiers Of The Dead”.
