2006 has been a busy year for Nichelle, with conventions celebrating the 40th anniversary of Star Trek, film roles — including her involvement in a soon-to-be-released web-based feature called “Of Gods and Men” — not to mention her attending of the William Shatner Celebrity Roast.

StarTrek.com managed to catch her in between this flurry of activity for a very special one-on-one interview. Nichelle is a living entertainment legend and NASA spokesperson who, throughout the last 40 years, has held tightly to the ideals of Gene Roddenberry’s Star Trek vision.
