The Showtime anthology series, “Masters of Horror” is gearing up for its second season with a new list of guest stars, return of past directors and the addition of several new helmers.
The list of guest stars will include actors such as Jason Priestley (90210), Elliott Gould (Oceans 11 & 12, Friends) and Christopher Lloyd. Besides the return of many of last year’s directors the following have been lined up to helm episodes, Peter Medak, Rob Schmidt, Norio Tsuruta, Brad Anderson, Ernest Dickerson and Todd Holland. Also, award winning novelist Clive Barker will pen the story “Valerie on the Stars” which will star Christopher Lloyd (Taxi, Back to the Future, Star Trek III).
In some great casting news, Michael Ironside is slated to star in the episode with Lloyd.
Some of the second season’s plots will center around a virus that transforms people into killers, cannibalism, creatures with foreboding powers over their prey, mysticism and ghosts.
Masters of Horror’s second season premieres October 27, 2006 on the Showtime Cable Network.
Cool. I hope Erin Brown lands another role.
