The Sci Fi Channel eight-hour thriller sleuth miniseries originally titled “Motel Man” gets a new moniker. It is now slated to be headlined as “Lost Room,” and will star one of the ensemble stars of HBO’s “Six Feet Under,” Peter Krause.
“Lost Room” follows the adventures of a detective who discovers what appears to be an ordinary motel room key that opens up a portal to alternate worlds and lets loose what, in our world would be routine and mundane objects. However, once they are loose, these objects have mysterious powers.
The miniseries is being shot on location in New Mexico and will premiere on the cable network in December 2006.
