Kevin and Dan Hageman will be adapting the Scott Lynch fantasy epic “The Lies of Locke Lamora” to the big screen.
The author wrote a seven book series, and the first, “Lies…,” became available on book shelves a few weeks ago and is already a big seller in both the US and the UK getting stellar reviews from critics.
The story centers around an audacious and likable rogue and con artist and his band of merry thieves known simply as The Gentlemen Bastards. Think part Robin Hood and part Ocean’s Eleven set in the fanasty Venice-like city of Camorr and you have a clue to its plot.
Scott’s a friend of mine, and he’s not British 🙂
