Another Stephen King outing is coming from Dimension Films called “1408.”

The film will star Samuel L. Jackson (Snakes on a Plane), John Cusack (The Martian Child), and Kate Walsh (Grey’s Anatomy).

In this King short story adaptation, supernatural writer Robert Enslin, an author of two hit books focusing on the debunking of supernatural phenomena, does research for his latest book in the notorious room 1408 at the infamous Dolphin Hotel in New York City.

The room has a mythical reputation and checkered past of horrific proportions and under the severe objections by the hotel manager, Enslin is determined to go through with his investigations. What Robert Enslin will experience, however, will not be myth, as 1408 is one room where the guests never have a check out time.
