“The Da Vinci Code,” Ron Howard’s masterpiece screen adaptation of Dan Brown’s novel has, so far, grossed $210 million in the US market alone and well beyond that on the international scene. Today TNT was successful in acquiring the rights to show the blockbuster hit on its cable network. The film will debut on TNT in October 2008.

Nice!
But I’ll have the DVD by then and won’t have to be subjected to all of the commercials on TNT.
Anyone else sick to death of the pop-ups? They’re bad enough on my computer…but on frickken TV??
I think the pop-ups are the worst of all on TBS and Spike generally. I remember one channel (Discovery, maybe?) once had a huge tidal wave that took up the whole bottom quarter of the screen and made an annoying whoosh! sound.
