Calling all Night Watch Fans!

Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor)WE NEED YOUR HELP: JOIN “THE HUNT”? TODAY

Unique Sweepstakes Celebrates DVD Release of Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor)

LOS ANGELES Calif., June 20 — The Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor) Scavenger Hunt sets out to recruit the ultimate horror and sci-fi fans with a new sweepstakes timed to coincide with the DVD release of Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor). From Russian director Timur Bekmambetov, Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor) is the first movie in an epic trilogy about the forces of light and darkness. The film was a surprise blockbuster in Russia, and is now available to U.S. audiences on DVD. The promotion comes from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment (TCFHE) and Buzztone.

Buzztone and TCFHE are challenging Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor) fans to choose between the forces of light – the Night Watch – or the forces of darkness – the Day Watch – and then search for lost objects that are scattered across the Web. By joining a Watch and being entrusted with the Hunt’s map, recruits have one mission: to find all of the missing objects and to help their chosen side reclaim power in the eternal battle between light and darkness. Inspired by the movie’s dark, stylish depiction of modern-day Moscow, the Hunt offers one lucky fan the chance to win a $2500 cash prize.

A network of partner sites will hide the missing objects within its many pages. After that it’s up to the Watch recruits to reclaim them and complete the map! Partners in this promotion include: MonstersandCritics.com, HorrorFind.com, Bloody-Disgusting.com, FemmeFatales.com, GamersTemple.com, SliceofSciFi.com and NightWatchShow.com.

The contest goes live June 20th and will run through July 20th; enter at www.buzztone.com/nightwatch. The winning entrant will receive a $2500 cash prize, and the runner-up will receive a new DVD player and a DVD prize pack of Fox Home Entertainment horror classics, including Night Watch (Nochnoi Dozor).
