It was stated last month that the DVD release of NBC TV’s “Surface” was to be labeled as The Complete First Season.
But, now it has been changed to The Complete Series, which is kind of like hitting the final nail into the coffin… so to speak.

Not having seen it- does it end in a complete cliffhanger or is there at least some kind of denouement? Can I watch it and not feel cheated when it ends?
Yes and No! It is a cliffhanger with a solid ending that could lead one to think SPOILER ALERT – “it’s over for humankind,” – therefore, no further story needed to be told. It could have gone either way so on some level at least, the story ended, but you are still left wondering what actually happen to the lead characters and the rest of humanity.
