First Friday

The UK’s SFX Magazine has teamed up with the Sci Fi Channel on a movie season where the fans get to call the shots!

This movie event takes place on the first Friday of every month, and it’s called First Friday. This month’s three choices are Lawnmower Man, Day of the Triffids and Little Shop of Horrors. So, if you’re from the UK – to vote, get yer ass DOWN HERE.

For US viewers this Friday will be Doctor Who’s first season big finale episode “The Parting of the Ways,” in which the current Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) must sacrifice himself to save Earth from an epic war with the Daleks that are hell bent on destroying all humanity. If the US SciFi Channel opts to pick up season two, the good Doctor (number 10) returns in the guise of actor David Tennant.
