What does the new J.J. Abrams series “Six Degrees” have in common with “ER,” “The West Wing,” “China Beach,” “The Court,” and “The Unit?” Carol Flint.
Flint will be joining the Abrams creative team behind the ABC SF drama series “Six Degrees” airing this fall. She will be coming on board as the show-running executive producer. No stranger to episodic-ensemble TV drama, Flint has garnered her share of accolades including the 1996 Emmy as producer of “ER.”
Now she will be going head-to-head with her old “ER” series as “Six Degrees” has been shouldered up against the highly successful 13-year old medical drama in the ABC primetime schedule.
This new Abrams vehicle takes the whole concept of the “six-degrees of Kevin Bacon” to the extreme and follows the intermixed stories of six total strangers in New York City and how a web of mystery soon intertwines their lives together.
The show will star Jay Hernandez (Hostel), Bridget Moynahan (I, Robot), Hope Davis (About Schmidt), Campbell Scott (The Exorcism of Emily Rose), Dorian Missick (The Manchurian Candidate), and Erika Christensen (Flight Plan).
“Six Degrees” can be seen on ABC every Thursday night at 10PM ET following “Grey’s Anatomy” this fall.
