Emily Mortimer should be given some kind of special award just for the stamina needed to keep up as she has signed on to team with wildmen Jim Carrey and Ben Stiller in the upcoming Jay Roach – 20th Century Fox scifi comedy “Used Guys” (a sort of scifi Dumb and Dumber).

The story is set in a future where women run the world and men are just a commodity to be cloned and traded like stocks and bonds. Carrey and Stiller are reject pleasure clones that go seeking for the meaning of life, manhood and the illusive land of enchantement called Mantopia. Along the way they meet up with Mortimer’s character, a rebel type who believes her society has gone astray in its rejection of the importance of intimate male-to-female relationships. She and Stiller fall in love creating a rift in the woman-run society.

Filming is scheduled to begin on June 11, 2006 with a theatrical release one year later.
