CBS will be announcing either today or tomorrow its new ad-supported broadband channel that will highlight some of its short-form and network television shows.
CBS has a vast library of programming to tap into from newer shows like “The Ghost Whisperer” to the classics like the original “Twilight Zone” with Rod Serling.
When CBS Broadband did a test stream of the NCAA men’s b-ball in March it was the most watched webcast of live-TV to date. Already the industry leader in presenting news online, CBS hopes to be the first on the network broadband bandwagon to make serious inroads with advertisers and the internet viewing public.
