Who Is Kyle X/Y?

May 1, 2006 By S. K. Sloan 3 Comments

Beginning in June 2006 audiences will be asking the question, “who is Kyle?”

“Kyle X/Y” is a new Touchstone Television scifi drama premiering on the ABC Family Cable Channel this summer and centers around a teenage boy that has no past and no memory who is adopted by an average American family.

The studio has only now started promoting this show about a teenage boy with a mutated genetic structure who, by the way he acts, appears to be a newborn. Soon after he is found he is put in an institution, where a psychologist (Marguerite MacIntyre) realizes his special needs and brings him home to care for him and give him a therapeutic family setting with her own two children and husband, played by Bruce Thomas.

The drama unfolds as the family and Kyle begin interacting and more of the mystery of his genesis begins to unfold.

Headlining the cast of “Kyle X/Y” will be Amber Borycki (Scary Movie 4) and Matt Dallas (Living the Dream) as Kyle. The supporting cast consists of Holly Dignard, April Matson, Chris Oliver, Sonya Salomaa, and Chelan Simmons.

The program is currently shooting in Canada and has been greenlit for eight initial episodes. If it is successful in those eight, more will follow.

i really love this show, and i can’t wait til june11 for all new episodes. i cried when kyle left the trager family, also felt bad for decland who a friend of kyle’s got mad at him for not telling him (decland) to what had happened to kyle in the woods. kyle just wanted to keep the tragers safe. i also think that matt dallas is just one of many gifted actors. plus he’s really hot. and whats the deal with a “no belly button”, that’s hot.
