ABC Sets Two Finales

May 1, 2006 By S. K. Sloan 2 Comments

ABC will be bringing two of its top rated shows to an end this month, one forever and the other just for the summer.

Alias, the big Jennifer Garner hit will be saying its final farewells on May 22nd at 9PM ET/PT in a two-hour series finale which will conclude the show’s five year run.

The other ABC blockbuster hit to say goodbye, albiet only for the summer, is “LOST” which will air its season finale on May 24th at 9PM ET/PT. In this season ending cliffhanger Matthew Fox (Jack) and Naveen Andrews (Sayid) forge a plan that will get Michael’s son Walt back from the Others and that pesky button on the computer down in the hatch becomes the main center of controversy between Locke (Terry O’Quinn) and Eko (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) leading the two one-time allies to a serious confrontation. While the plot for the season finale winds down, the real mystery is still hidden out there, in the jungle.

Hate to nitpick, but “Walt’s son” is actually supposed to be Walt himself, who is Michael’s son.

Nitpick away my friend. We rely on our listeners and readers to clear up our typos, slip-of-tongues and errors that get by us from time to time. With the vast volume of data all of us on the News Team wade through every single day, I’m amazed my bloppers don’t happen more than they do.

Corrections sent to us are always welcome and appreciated.
