The SciFi Channel promised viewers this would be a record breaking year for the miniseries on the cable network and they weren’t kidding. So far we have seen the Stephen King weird skid into the “Kingdom Hospital,” a trip into Norse legend with “Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King” and a journey into the forbidden zone of the Bermuda Triangle in Bryan Singer and Dean Devlin’s “The Triangle.”
Our next miniseries foray is the 8-hour trip through portals to alternate universes. “Motel Man” follows the investigations of a detective after he finds a motel room door key that gains him entrance to these other strange worlds.
This miniseries will bring The SciFi Channel into new territory, a program that allows the viewer to become more emotionally involved with the characters and the story as a whole. If this miniseries is a ratings success the cable network will consider “Motel Man” for a regular weekly series.

This one sounds like it could be interesting as a Series…
They would certainly need some *Top Notch* writers to keep it entertaining and fresh…
