Les Moonves halted rumors that the brand new CW Network, a product of the merging of The WB and UPN, was not changing its name to something other than CW, but its logo will get a whole new look.
The network has added an additional 18 stations to its growing list and a recent poll shows that 48% of their targeted demographic of 18 to 34 year old young adults are already aware of the new channel. Moonves is happy with those tracking numbers because that is almost 50% of the audience they want without a lot of advertising thus far.
Their programming will certainly be geared toward that demographic. “Aguaman,” “Gilmore Girls,” “Veronica Mars, “Everybody Hates Chris” and the new “She Said, He Said” sitcom starring Jessica’s ex, Nick Lachey are only a handful of shows that will be featured on CW for that sought after audience.
The only good news for scifi fans is “Supernatural” will be returning on CW, probably the only reason a real scifi geek like myself would ever watch the network.

What about Smallville? That’s sci-fi.
And what about Smallville?
