The new man behind the big S and flowing cape received an official blessing from Christopher Reeve’s wife, Dana Reeve, before she died this month from lung cancer.
Dana sent the new Man of Steel a package containing two pendants, each with a red “S” and a heartfelt message to him that said, “Go Forward.” With that simple but inspiring act the torch has officially been passed to Brandon Routh with the Reeve’s blessing.
Up until this time Routh has admitted to being quite nervous trying to fill Christopher Reeve’s shoes and meeting up to Dana’s and the fan’s expectations, but now with this gift he feels like the Reeve’s and the fans are with him in this film making endeavor.
In an update to Superman Returns casting news, Hugh Jackman of X-Men fame will have a cameo appearance in the film as Clark Kent’s adopted Earth Dad, Jonathan Kent.

fandom to her fondation. i really belive she
would and christopher would want tom welling
and that smallvile cast instead. seeing he
offically passed the torch to tom welling on the show.the cast of movie is non likeable and stupit.
just like the mistake of james bond of late.
