On Monday the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame in Seattle Washington (USA) publically revealed its inductees into the museum’s presigious Hall of Fame for 2006.
The museum celebrates its own 10th Anniversary this year and its Hall of Fame honors those whose lives have made an impact on the world and reflect what is best in science fiction and for the genre as a whole.
The 2006 inductees are legendary director/producer/writer and filmmaker George Lucas (creator of Star Wars), author Frank Herbert (Dune), Hugo Award winning author Anne McCaffrey (Dragonriders of Pern novels), and scifi artist Frank Kelly Freas. Frank Herbert and Frank Kelly Freas will be inducted post-humously. The official induction ceremony will take place at the museum on June 17, 2006.
