There have been many different big and small screen renditions of the classic J.M. Barrie story of “Peter Pan,” but Ben Magid’s newly developed script has captured something totally different that may be so left-field as to make the audience say, “no, no that is taking it too far.”
Peter Pan will take a sharp turn into the dark, bizarre and horrific in this New Line remake called “Pan.”
In this newest take on Barrie’s famous duo from Neverland, Peter Pan is a notorious villain being tracked down by the good police Captain Hook.
No word yet if this will be a live-action, animated or combination of both feature. The script has only recently been submitted for approval to Toby Emmerich, Jeff Katz and Jack Wagner, the project studio bosses.
