The live-action, computer-animated fantasy feature “Arthur and the Minimoys” has gotten some big-time singing talent to do voice-overs.
Madonna, David Bowie and Snoop Dogg will add their voices along with Mia Farrow and Freddie Highmore in this screen-adaptation of the famous French children’s book.
Director Luc Besson (The Professional) has been working on the film for over three years already. The movie deals with the life of 10-year old Arthur who is out to save his grandmother’s home from the money lenders, but to do so he must find his grandfather’s hidden treasure which is buried safe in the land of the tiny people called the Minimoys.
Along the way he meets up with Madonna’s character (Princess Selenia) and Max, voiced by Snoop Dogg. They journey with him until they encounter the villian of the story Malthazar (Bowie).
