According to Hollywood.com Joss Whedon isn’t ready to count out a possible return of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel just yet.
The guru of everything fun to watch recently hinted that both of his cult TV creations may find new life in one of several formats: home entertainment (straight-to-DVD or pay-per-view), or TV series spinoffs that would showcase the other characters of the shows, such as Spike.
Rumors of these possibilities have been around for months but now Joss has thrown himself into the fray by adding, “We’ve been discussing how to do things with a different format, maybe something straight to DVD that wouldn’t be a full series. There are various characters that I’d want to explore further.”
While this is great news, what we really want to hear Joss say is that “Serenity 2” will be coming soon to a theater near you.
Hurray!!!!! It would be absoulutly awesome to see a show focused on Spike……he always was my favorite…..and maybye more with his singing in the show????? So many possibilities………..
