Two weeks ago on the Slice of SciFi show we reported on a new Jeff Goldblum vehicle called “Seeing Red,” the story about a cop who is able to see and talk to dead victims. NBC has opted for a series name change. When the series premieres it will be known as “Raines.”

Our last week’s show introduced new characters to CW Network’s Aquaman. Ving Rhames has signed on and Will Toale was replaced as leading man by Justin Hartley. Now the network has decided not to call the show Aquaman, but talking a cue from “Smallville,” the underwater superhero’s new show will either be called “Tempest Key” or “Mercy Reef,” with the latter being the favorite among fans polled.
