Yesterday a spokesperson for the ABC Network put an end to all the rumors and speculation surrounding the final episodes of its hit spy drama Alias.

Starting April 19, 2006 at 8PM ET/PT ABC will air a two-hour episode of Alias, featuring the birth of Sydney’s (Jennifer Garner) baby. Also returning for this special segment will be Michael Vartan as Vaughn.

Thereafter, Alias will air on Wednesday at 8PM ET/PT until the final series finale.

Of particular note for these final episodes of the popular show, fans will see returns of characters Anna Espinosa (Gina Torres), Irina Derevko (Lena Olin), and Julian Sark (David Anders).
