Vince Vaughn (The Wedding Crashers) has signed on to star in “Fred Claus,” a fantasy about Santa’s loser brother.

The Dan Fogelman script will be about Santa’s unknown brother Fred, (the black-sheep of the family), who comes to the workshop in the North Pole to find redemption from his famous brother.

Warner Bros. is shooting for this December as a release date in this David Dobkin holiday fare.
