The TV scifi anthology “Masters of Science Fiction” is scheduled for a 13-episode ABC Network run.

The show will take some of the best works of such classic scifi authors as Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Harlan Ellison and H.G. Wells and present them as television scifi dramas.

Currently ABC has only committed to 4-episodes, but the two production companies involved, IDT Entertainment and Industry Entertainment will ensure that all 13-episodes are completed.

Shooting is slated to begin in May 2006 for ABC’s summer schedule or for its Fall 2006/2007 season.
