STAR TREK’s 40th Will Be A Major Splash

February 17, 2006 By S. K. Sloan Leave a Comment

There are only two places in the entire world to join the celebration of Star Trek’s 40th Anniversary on the exact weekend date: September 8-10, 2006!

Yes it was exactly 40 years ago on September 8, 1966 that it all started on NBC with the classic episode “Man Trap”. A startling new voyage that would change television forever; one that would garner millions of lifelong fans on its incredible way to the present day! We’re proud to be amongst those fans and we’ve been very lucky to present every major cast member from all the series on our Creation stages over the 35 years we’ve done conventions for fellow fans!

But there is going to be something very special about the conventions on September 8-10, 2006. That’s because both (Chicago and Sacramento, California) will feature appearances together by legendary stars WILLIAM SHATNER and LEONARD NIMOY. Bill and Leonard are beloved entertainment icons and wonderful on stage solo, but it is even greater to see them together: best friends that created one of television’s most treasured teams.

Please don’t miss the chance to capture in your hearts forever this moment in time: WILLIAM SHATNER and LEONARD NIMOY on stage together for the 40th Anniversary!

“The Boys” will be travelling to both cities for the duo appearances, and there will be other guests as well (in Chicago we’ve already booked ROBERT PICARDO, ETHAN PHILLIPS and JOHN de LANCIE and in Sacramento we have ROBBIE McNEILL and JOHN DE LANCIE so far. More to come in each city).
