“Alias” may be gone soon on the small screen but the crack writing team of Monica Breen and Alison Schapker has been brought over to the other J.J. Abrams mega-hit “LOST.”

Breen and Schapker have negotiated a 2-year deal with Touchstone Pictures, with nods from ABC and and Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions to work as scriptors for the island scifi thriller.

The two have an 8-year history as a writing duo, scripting for such TV hits as Dharma and Greg, Charmed and Frasier. They also authored the docu-pic “Unauthorized Brady Bunch: The Final Days” in 2000.
