Superman Returns’ Bryan Singer has been tapped to write a script for a remake of the 1976 box-office hit Logan’s Run which originally starred Michael York and Peter Ustinov.

Logan’s Run is based on the William Nolan novel. It is about a people in the distant future who have survived a nuclear holocaust in domed habitats and have created the idealic society and living environment. The only catch? Everyone over the age of 30 (age 21 in the novel) must die, or as it is politically correct to say, RENEW!
